Mamba Day Recap
At Lee Baron, product storytelling is never just about what is worn. It is about the discipline, preparation, and purpose behind the person wearing it.
For REPS. Mamba Day, Lee Baron brought the Mamba Mentality to life through a focused two-part content shoot featuring SHSU guard Justin Begg. Timed around Mamba Day, 4.13, the project highlighted the discipline behind performance, the repetition behind growth, and the routine that separates talent from true commitment.

Centered around the Kobe 11 Protro “Mamba Out” and Kobe 11 Protro “Mamba Day” colorways, REPS. connected product, athlete, and environment through a story rooted in work ethic.
Built on Discipline
REPS. was created to show the process behind the performance. The concept followed Justin through two spaces that define the athlete’s routine: the weight room and the court.
The first part focused on strength and preparation. Captured in a raw gym environment, the training segment emphasized repetition, discipline, and the behind-the-scenes work that happens away from the spotlight.

The second part shifted to the court, where footwork, agility, ball-handling, and skill development brought the story into motion. Each drill reflected the idea that greatness is built through consistency, not shortcuts.

Product in Motion
The Kobe 11 Protro “Mamba Out” and “Mamba Day” were positioned naturally within the athlete’s routine. Instead of forcing the product into the frame, the shoot allowed the shoes to become part of the work.

The “Mamba Out” colorway carried the training-day energy, blending into the weight room with a focus on intensity and preparation. The “Mamba Day” colorway came alive on court, connecting the product to movement, speed, and performance.
Together, both colorways helped tell one complete story: the grind before the game and the execution when it matters.
The Mamba Mentality
The heart of the campaign was the Mamba Mentality — a mindset built on focus, consistency, and daily commitment.
REPS. positioned Lee Baron within that mindset by showing product as a natural extension of the work. Every frame carried the message that discipline is not something you talk about. It is something you repeat.
From solo athletic focus to real training environments, the content captured the quiet intensity behind preparation. It was not about overproducing the moment. It was about letting the work speak.

Featured Talent
The campaign featured Justin Begg, guard for Sam Houston State University. His presence brought authenticity to the project, grounding the story in real athletic preparation and credible performance.

By placing Justin in spaces connected to his routine, the shoot felt natural, disciplined, and intentional. The result was content that reflected both the athlete and the product without forcing either one.
Key Highlights
REPS. delivered a cohesive content story rooted in discipline, preparation, and product storytelling.
The campaign featured a two-part shoot that captured both strength training and skill development. It used authentic environments to reinforce credibility, detail-driven visuals to highlight repetition, and hero video/photo assets designed for the Mamba Day rollout.

The final result aligned the Kobe 11 Protros with a performance-driven narrative where consistency and work ethic define the culture.
Community Impact
REPS. showed how product can connect to a larger mindset when the story is built with purpose.
By tying Mamba Day to repetition, training, and athlete-driven storytelling, Lee Baron created a campaign that felt authentic to basketball culture. The activation honored the legacy of Mamba Mentality while keeping the focus on the daily work required to live it.
This was more than a shoe feature. It was a reminder that greatness is built in reps — one drill, one lift, one moment of focus at a time.
