Lee Baron Presents Power In Bloom 2 Recap

At Lee Baron, community activations are more than an event. They are opportunities to bring culture, creativity, and connection into one shared space.

For Power In Bloom 2, Lee Baron partnered with 82 Purple, Her Grails, and Adidas to host a thoughtfully curated experience designed to empower young women through conversation, creativity, and self-expression. Centered around self-worth, the evening invited guests from the Boys & Girls Club Adult Education and Literacy Program to reflect, create, and celebrate the beauty of blooming into who they are becoming.
Inspired by the idea that growth happens when it is seen, supported, and shared, Power In Bloom 2 created an environment rooted in intention, healing, and community.

Learning Through Conversation

The evening opened with warmth and connection as guests gathered around a floral tablescape, enjoyed food curated by Cochinita’s Catering, and eased into the night’s creative flow with music powered by DJ Maiya Papaya.

The heart of the evening was led by Dr. Ogechi “Cynthia” Onyeka, who guided an interactive conversation centered on reflection, emotional wellness, and collective healing. Together, guests explored the weight of everyday stressors, burnout, caregiving, perfectionism, and the importance of setting boundaries.

Through mindfulness, self-compassion, and honest conversation, the workshop created space for each young woman to recognize that healing is not linear, rest is not weakness, and every step forward is a victory in itself.

Blooming Through Creation

Following the conversation, guests moved into a creative floral activation guided by 82 Purple in partnership with Berde Botánica. Each attendee created a personal bouquet inspired by their future self, using flowers as a symbol of growth, strength, softness, and self-discovery.

When placed together, the individual arrangements formed a larger display in the shape of the Adidas logo, representing unity, collaboration, and the power of individual stories coming together as one.

The activation transformed a hands-on creative moment into something deeper: a reminder that every person blooms differently, but every bloom has purpose.

Style, Storytelling, and Self-Expression

To close the night, guests joined Tausha Sanders, founder of Her Grails, at a floral-inspired Adidas Superstar customization charm bar. Each attendee received a pair of Adidas ADISTAR XLG 2.0 sneakers and designed them with specially crafted charms that reflected their individuality, personal style, and story.

The charm bar connected sneaker culture with self-expression, allowing each young woman to leave with something personal that she created. More than a gift, the sneakers became a symbol of confidence, movement, and future growth.

Built From Within

Power In Bloom 2 was rooted in the belief that true confidence starts from within. From the floral design and culinary details to the guided conversation and sneaker customization, every part of the evening was created with purpose and care.

The experience brought together mental wellness, fashion, sneaker culture, and community in a way that felt authentic and intentional. It reminded guests that their stories matter, their growth deserves to be celebrated, and their future is something worth stepping into with confidence.

Community Impact

Power In Bloom 2 reflected what Lee Baron continues to stand for: creating spaces where product, culture, and community intersect. The evening was not just about sneakers, flowers, or conversation. It was about creating a meaningful experience where young women felt seen, valued, and celebrated.

Through collaboration, creativity, and care, FIF, Lee Baron, 82 Purple, Adidas, Her Grails, and every partner involved helped bring a powerful message to life: when community makes space for growth, everyone blooms.
