This past Monday, Lee Baron partnered with adidas Cornerstone Community to host Cold Front, a winter-inspired community activation created for the Walker County Boys & Girls Club. Designed as an immersive afternoon rooted in creativity, care, and belonging, the event welcomed 135 children from grades K–10 and transformed our space into something far greater than a retail environment

From the moment guests arrived, falling snowflakes set the tone for a magical experience. Inside, children moved through thoughtfully designed activations that blended play with purpose. One of the most impactful moments came through AJ’s Winter Closet, where every child received an adidas jacket to keep, turning style into a meaningful act of warmth during the colder months.

The experience continued with a snow globe photo activation, where each child stepped inside to capture a professional holiday portrait. Those photos were then transformed into custom snowflake ornaments, giving every guest a personalized keepsake to take home and share with their family. These small, intentional details helped make the day feel personal and unforgettable.

Hospitality was a core focus throughout the evening. Dinner was provided by Chick-fil-A, ensuring every guest was cared for, while a cozy hot chocolate bar sponsored by Ben & Jerry’s added a fun twist, allowing kids to turn their drinks into winter floats with a scoop of ice cream. Each element reinforced that this event was built with thought, care, and heart.

By the end of the night, 135 jackets were gifted, 135 professional photos were captured, and 135 custom ornaments were created, but the true impact went far beyond the numbers. Cold Front strengthened partnerships between Lee Baron, adidas Cornerstone Community, Chick-fil-A, and Ben & Jerry’s, while reinforcing our belief that retail spaces can and should serve as hubs for community connection


Cold Front was more than a winter activation. It was an experience rooted in warmth, imagination, and belonging. Every child left with something tangible to carry home, and a memory we hope stays with them long after the season ends.
