Lee Baron X Adidas Backpack The Block 2025: A Night of Community, Culture, and Connection
On Sunday, August 10th, Huntsville came together in a way that reminded us of the power of community. Hosted at Lee Baron and presented in partnership with adidas, Backpack The Block 2025 transformed our parking lot and the adjacent street into a vibrant carnival midway filled with energy, excitement, and purpose.
The event welcomed over 1,500 attendees, all coming together to celebrate the upcoming school year and support Walker County students. Families lined up well before the official start time, eager for an evening that went beyond school supplies—it was about connection, joy, and memories.
Supporting Students Where It Matters
Back-to-school season can be stressful, but Backpack The Block aimed to ease that burden. With the help of our community partners, we distributed 250 adidas backpacks filled with essential supplies, 250 Chick-fil-A meals, and 500 Sport Clips vouchers. These resources helped students start the school year not only prepared but confident.
A Carnival to Remember
From the 42-foot Ferris wheel to the thrilling Dixie Swing, the event brought unforgettable fun for kids and parents alike. Families also enjoyed face painting, snow cones, an interactive photo booth, and music from DJ Hardbody Kiotti, Houston Rockets in-arena host and 93.7 The Beat personality. The energy was electric, reminding us that joy is an essential part of community.
The Power of Partnership
This event wouldn’t have been possible without the collective support of our community partners, the City of Huntsville, Chick-fil-A, Sport Clips, and adidas. Their commitment to Huntsville families turned this vision into reality. Together, we proved that when businesses, leaders, and neighbors unite, the impact reaches far beyond one night.

Looking Ahead
Backpack The Block 2025 was more than a back-to-school carnival—it was a celebration of unity and a reminder that every child deserves to feel supported. The smiles, laughter, and sense of belonging created that evening will carry us forward as we continue to build together.
Thank you, Huntsville, for showing up. You reminded us why we do this—and why we’ll keep doing it.
